After the nuts have been tightened on the header, the engine returned back to its spot and the axles reattached, everything is ready to fire up the engine. Since the TT exhaust system expected a catalytic converter and the header did not, I could not match up the flangeless header to the flanged exhaust. For the first ice race that I went to I raised the coilovers in the front of the car by 4 inches so that I could hang the exhaust under the floor of the car and the header went through the normal exhaust channel in the floor. Running the car with just a header is loud.... but, it sounded nice at 110 mph across the lake.

Oxygen Sensor! This is key for setting up your engine. I run it disconnected to richen the engine, but it is plugged back in before going to Ralph's to be set up for the racing season.

And yes, it really is a 1.8 liter. :)
