Hillclimbs

Imagine a pave mountain road that is about 3 miles long.  Imagine that it has 29 corners, is lined with trees and rocks, has cliffs and ledges, is really skinny and the posted speed limit is 15.  Now, imagine that you are averaging 55 mph on the road.  Averaging!  That is a hillclimb.  In Vermont, the New England Hillclimb Association, or NEHA, is the host for most of the hillclimbs.  Check out www.hillclimb.org for event information.  There are other clubs in Vermont that offer vintage hillclimbs such as at Mt. Equinox.
